I am a passionate creator, leader, and collaborator with a unique focus on experience, communication, and connection. I embody a wealth of people-oriented skills gained from decades of service, technical, and artistic pursuits. I learn and meet needs, communicate in the language of my audience, and exercise authenticity and empathy in my work, because people are happier, stronger, and more committed when they feel understood and supported. I honor the time and trust placed in me by ensuring the experience I provide is comprehensive, professional, and genuine.

I have worked as a copywriter, employing wordplay and creative phrasing to communicate complex ideas to a wide and varied audience. I was the first and sole UX researcher at Cheetah, a startup restaurant supply company in the SF Bay Area, providing a expert and empathetic ear to restaurant owners and operators. I co-founded and operated Sneaky's BBQ, a large-scale catering, event, and restaurant company that began as an underground delivery service in the SF Bay Area. I was the executive and operational chef at the popular Mission neighborhood restaurant, Southpaw BBQ, and worked with my partners to craft exceptional food, cocktails, and guest experiences. I have worked in many more relationship-based, people-forward roles in between.

I have played over 700 shows in the US and Europe, and released over a dozen recordings, with multiple DIY bands. I have created album covers, apparel designs, hand-screened album packaging and concert posters, and unique, fine art pieces through my ongoing project, Ghost Mansion Press.

My career in the service, music, and art worlds has strengthened my abilities to listen, discern, collaborate, communicate, and create. I have a particular interest in people and their behavior, thoughts, and feelings. I enjoy learning what people want and why they want it, and designing solutions for their needs. I want to know why people love and do what they do. I am a consummate learner with a varied, creative background that has been challenging and enriching, and I am looking forward to the next opportunity to collaborate with passionate, caring people.
